Famous for horse racing, baseball, fried chicken, and bourbon, there's really no other place like Louisville. Dating back to 1778, Downtown Louisville is the historic hub of this legendary city, home to such major landmarks as the Louisville Slugger Museum and Factory, the Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts, and the Louisville Slugger Field. It is also home to the University of Louisville, the historic Brown Theatre, Fourth Street Live!, and the Kentucky International Convention Center.

From its history as the oldest city west of the Appalachians to its lively shopping districts to its restaurants and breweries, you'll love living in a Downtown Louisville apartment. This neighborhood is located along the Ohio River, extending south to Broadway. Churchill Downs, home of the world-famous Kentucky Derby, is located about three miles south of downtown. Other places you'll enjoy after moving to Downtown Louisville include the art galleries in East Market District, the majestic Belle of Louisville, the stunning Louisville Waterfront Park, and the views from the Louisville Riverwalk.

There is a parking garage directly across the street from building. It is $10 per day (open parking lot) and $12 per day in the parking structure. Parking on Street is free on Sundays (first come first serve basis).

Vue at 3rd has its original architecture, design and fixtures; depending on the season, the building itself operates on a centralized system; the temperature is set for “optimal comfort.” This building operates off of a boiler/chiller system and is on a centralized system, where either hot or cool air is pushed through all vents. Unfortunately, at no given time will you have access to both heat and air conditioning in the unit.
